Vintage Avon Wildlife Stein
This is a very nice vintage stein commissioned by Avon in 1976. Made exclusively for Avon by Ceramarte in Brazil. The registry number is on the bottom of the stein. This is mostly blue with raised white wild animals. The animals are listed by name around the base of the stein: Bighorn Sheep, Alaskan Moose, Falcon, Rocky Mountain Goat, Condor, Golden Eagle. The lid is a solid metal, perhaps pewter or aluminum. The hinge on the lid works perfectly. This stein stands about 9.5 inches high, measures about 5 inches across and 4 inches deep. Don't see any chips, cracks or repairs. Holds about 2 pints. Weight is 1 pound, 12 ounces.
