Drawing of a 19th Century Couple in Carved Wooden Frame
This is 19th century. No artist name or manufacturer. Glass cover. The coolest thing about this is the frame, wooden with attached plaster floral work on the top center and bottom left and right corners. This appears to be a young couple, either recently courting or perhaps friends, sister and brother.... It's impossible to say. Inside the frame, this measures 9.5 inches wide and 12 inches tall. Actual size of the work would be more like 8 inches by 6 inches. The back side is a plain old wood panel and a simple string to hang the picture on the wall. Definitely damage to lower corners. This piece weighs 1 pound, 8 ounces.
