Impressive high compote from Fostoria, commissioned by the Henry Ford Museum between 1963-1970, based on original 1876 molds. Rebecca at the Well is the base and the bowl has a scalloped ribbon edge. The piece is in frosted in silver mist. Condition issue: very bottom back has a small chip where one glass bead is missing, smooth and not jagged to the touch. This piece stands over a foot high and the bowl is 10 inches around. Base of the compote is 5 inches around. This piece weighs 5 pounds, 13 ounces.
