After Herring. This is a 1975 reprint of an 1867 work from a series, Herring's Fox-Hunting Scenes. This is identified as Plate 2 of the series. Breaking Cover is printed below the scene, but this is a mistake. This work is actually titled Full Cry. Painted by J.F. Herring (John Frederick Herring Sr.)- Herring Sr. died in 1865. Engraved by J. Harris. Wooden frame, under glass, ready to hang. In the frame, measures 21 inches high and 26 inches wide. Image is 10 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Minor spots of wear on edges of the frame. Frame appears to be oak. This picture weighs 5 pounds, 10 ounces.
