A Slavic legend similar to Father Christmas or Santa Claus, Ded Moroz, is associated with Russian Winter, a pagan symbol of Winter, Christmas and New Year's. An important part of Russian culture, he is said to bring presents to well-mannered boys and girls on New Year's Eve. This figurine is a part of the miniature collection of Duncan Royale's History of Santa Claus. A figurine made in Taiwan, this is a piece from the Collector's Edition of M.E. Duncan of Fullterton, CA. This figurine stands 7 inches high and measures 5 inches wide. Green felt lines the bottom. This figure weighs 8 ounces.
